Organizers
The organizers of the ICPMEE Conference are three entities that are part of the scientific units:
Department of Foundry Process Engineering - Faculty of Foundry Engineering AGH
Technical Institute of the State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Sącz
Gießerei-Institut der TU Bergakademie Freiberg
Department of Foundry Process Engineering - Faculty of Foundry Engineering AGH
The research issues of the Department include a wide range of research issues related to foundry, which include:
– modeling and numerical simulation of foundry processes,
– computer aided calculations and foundry technologies,
– thermodynamics of foundry processes,
– foundry machinery and equipment, pressure die-casting,
– mechanization, automation and robotization of foundries,
– strength analysis and construction of castings,
– recycling and environmental protection in foundry,
– new materials and technologies.
Technical Institute of the State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Sącz
The place of the Institute of Technology of the State Higher Vocational School in Nowy Sącz is a modern facility located at Zamenhofa Street 1a, where students can use multimedia classrooms, modern computer labs and specialized laboratories.
At the Technical Institute of the State University of Applied Sciences, education takes place in four fields of study carried out in selected groups of specialization classes:
– Computer Science – 1st and 2nd degree studies
– Mechatronics – 1st and 2nd degree studies
– Transport and logistics – first-cycle studies
– Management and production engineering – 1st and 2nd degree studies
Studies at the Institute of Technology also give you the opportunity to obtain certificates and authorizations to operate technical devices, installations and power networks (SEP).
Research activity: The results of research work with IT affiliation are published in national and foreign journals, which translates into a progressive increase in the obtained doctoral and postdoctoral degrees.
Currently, the Institute of Technology ends its 22-year period of activity within the PWSZ and begins its activity in the new structure of the University – the Academy of Applied Sciences in Nowy Sącz.
Gießerei-Institut der TU Bergakademie Freiberg
